Updates and version notes

Documentation is versioned by release family. Every 0.8 patch and beta release uses the /docs/0.8/ guide.

Match a guide to the application

Find the application version in Settings > Application > About & legal. Use the first two version numbers to select the guide family.

The Documentation action in Radio Bench opens the copy shipped with that release. It opens the matching website family if the local copy is unavailable.

Understand page notes

A page can show a version note when behavior changed during 0.8. Instructions without a narrower note apply to the complete family.

An archived family remains available for older installations.

Install an update

Radio Bench offers an update only when it was published during your updates-and-support period. Confirm the target version before installation.

A paid license keeps covered builds authorized permanently. Installing a newer covered build does not create an ongoing online requirement.

0.8 family notes

• The 0.8 family is beta software and can contain experimental features.
• The offline guide is the best reference for the exact installed package.
