Privacy notice

What radiobench.com, Paddle, and the app collect — and what they do not.

The website

radiobench.com is a static site with no first-party cookies. It is served by Cloudflare Pages, which processes ordinary request data such as IP addresses and request logs to deliver and protect the site.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It is cookie-less and aggregate-only: no cookies or local storage, no device fingerprinting, and no tracking of you across sites.

Contact form

The contact form sends your name, email address, and message through a spam-protected relay that delivers it to us as ordinary email. The site does not store contact form submissions; the message becomes an ordinary email thread with us.

Purchases

Checkout is handled by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle handles payment processing, sales tax/VAT, receipts, and checkout-related compliance. radiobench.com does not collect or store payment card details.

We can see the order details needed to support your licence: your name, email address, order status, and the devices you have activated.

The app

Radio Bench sends no telemetry — no analytics, usage statistics, or crash reports, to us or anyone else. The only connections it makes are the ones needed for trials, licensing, updates, and optional services you configure.

  • Free trials use an app-specific device identifier to recognise the computer. They do not ask for an email address.
  • Paid licence activation uses the email address from your purchase and a one-time sign-in code — no password, no account profile. Activating a device sends a device name and the same kind of app-specific device identifier as trials. The activation request does not include payment card details.
  • Update checks fetch a version manifest from our release channel.
  • Map tiles are fetched from a third-party map tile provider.

Your logbook, settings, recordings, and licence file live on your device. They are yours; we hold no copy.
