Updates and version notes

Documentation is versioned by release family. Every 0.9 patch and beta release uses the /docs/0.9/ guide.

Match a guide to the application

Find the application version in Settings > Application > About & legal. Use the first two version numbers to select the guide family.

The Documentation action in Radio Bench opens the copy shipped with that release. It opens the matching website family if the local copy is unavailable.

Understand page notes

A page can show a version note when behavior changed during 0.9. Instructions without a narrower note apply to the complete family.

An archived family remains available for older installations.

Install an update

A paid license includes all future Radio Bench updates. Confirm the target version before installation.

If an older installation blocks an update, reactivate the existing purchase or install the latest version manually, as described in licensing. Installing an update does not create an ongoing online requirement.

0.9 family notes

• Version 0.9.0-beta.1 adds FT8/FT4, independent RF and FSK Auto floor controls, and saved TX audio levels.
• The 0.9 family is beta software and can contain experimental features.
• The offline guide is the best reference for the exact installed package.
